Design for Future Climate, Adapting Buildings is the largest programme on climate change adaptation of buildings in the UK. It has been working, and continues to work, with the UK buildings industry to create adaptation strategies by funding design teams to consider adaptation for ongoing building projects.The challenge of adaptation is to make buildings resistant or resilient to flooding, to overheating and to extreme weather events such as storms, to the 2080s and beyond.
